Getting close...

I mean, open.

This picture was taken this morning. As of writing this (grammar nazis around?) it is open, but not fully yet. Next photo maybe in two days. Then later when the flowers are dying, for we have to look our future face to face. Grammar nazis still not around?

Dear void, do you know what species this is? It's a yearly plant, some years doing flowers, some years not. It's the third time it does flowers. Last time was three years ago. Before was five years ago. If my memory serves me well.
